Reflection Post

During our one hour lesson today, we have began to storyboard approximately 30 seconds of 'Standing In The Way Of The Light'. From this, it is evident that the storyboarding process is a slow, important process where there is clear understanding of how detailed the important finding the appropriate shots will be.
To ensure our video appears realistic for the audience watching, we have taken care to ensure that the sound matches the visuals on screen, for example - matching piano playing visuals to specific parts of the song.
From this, it is clear that we must devote our time to effort out of lessons to ensure that the majority of the song has been storyboarded. As this is only a planning stage, a provisional storyboard can be produced - if needed. From here, we will have a clear indication of how realistic some of our ideas still are.
The next steps to move forward, include finishing the storyboard and meeting up with people involved in the video. We will then be able to work around any specific ideas that they feel is necessary, which will gives a clear idea about how realistic our idea is appearing for those participating in it, for example the number of seconds a specific routine will last or how long a shot can be lasted until it appears unprofessional.
