Risk Assesment

To ensure that the environment we will be working in is safe, there are a certain amount of aspects and features we need to consider with regards to the safety and well-being of ourselves and our video stars.
Cables of lights and cameras need to be out of the way, or if on the floor laid out so that they don't become a trip hazard. This is important as accidents can occur, which can result in the breaking of equipment and people involved.
We need to ensure that lights are switched off when not used so they don't overheat and become a fire hazard. Not only will this cause danger to us, but it will damage the expensive equipment. We need to ensure that all stars of the music video follow instruction by Sanj and I to ensure their safety and the respect of the location we use to film is of a high standard. As a result of this it would be less likely for anything to break and for us to receive a fine, and the safety and well-being of everyone would be good.
We will ensure that there is no glass, food or drink present throughout the filming session on set as this could cause a hazard of damage to the equipment, or a result in perhaps a slip hazard if anything is spilt on the floor or left lying around.
We will make sure that when the camera is not in use that it is placed back in a bag or stood on a tripod out of the way so it doesn't become a further problem. We will make sure that the equipment we use is returned in the standard it was given to us.
When arriving at the location we will ensure that we are aware of the fire safety procedures, as well as the locations of where the nearest fire extinguishers and exits are to ensure we are prepared in case of an accident occurring.
